put it ???
What am I afraid of when writing a blog?
Depending on what I write and who reads it. It´s a very varying situation.
What if I write something too personal or not researched enough. But I think even the second is not too bad, as that might lead to a discussion in which other people can still tell me. I mean blogging is not only about distributing information, it´s also about getting it. If I get it on other blogs, or someone leaves it on mine…ok, who cares? It´s about learning as well, right?
And I think, writing something too personal can be avoided by simply reading the text again and reflecting. But on the other hand, even stuff that is not too personal can reveil something about behaviour, habits, hobbies,… waht so ever, that might be used against you.
Or maybe I write something that pisses people off. I don´t know what yet, but who knows what I care about in a few days, weeks or months
And even then…what´s going to happen then?
Blogging is too ananymous for any life interfering consequences resulting from a critical blog entry and I´m thoughtful enough to not let a big virtual chatastrophy affect my real life too bad.
visual therapy
Looking for a blog that I would like was pretty hard, as there are so many out there. I mean type in “photography” and you´ll get 261,434 different blogs!! Luckily, I´m a very visual person, that´s why I don´t even have to look for the content too much and most blogs failed the big sympathy-test after the first click.
But there has been one that caught my eye: visual therapy
Its minimalistic design and its street art image convinced me in a second! The second second I found out that the authors are two guys from Kuwait who want to provide a platform for artists, musicians and designers in their country and provide them with influences from abroad, such as Shepard Fairey, a well known street artist.
Besides that, the guys, Shahad and Camil, offer services in the field of design, communication and exhibitions. So they know what they are talking about!
